WJMC: The over view

Well, the conference itself was wonderful. If I had an opportunity to do it again I definitely would. The speakers were great and the staff and advisers were excellent. Everyone was very helpful and there was never any reason to feel alone. There were several events planned and so much to do that you never had time to miss family and friends. I especially enjoyed touring the monuments. Who knew there could be so much history in one area?? Everything was so amazing and I learned so much. My roommate Courtney was great and we quickly bonded through shared music and teenage lingo. I also had the opportunity to reunite with an old facebook friend whose name was also Courtney. Not only did I make friends with them but I also met a Korean friend named Suji. She was so hilarious. She made the funniest faces and said some of the craziest things. And speaking of crazy….Dean Flagel was a riot. Every word that came out of his mouth was funny. He should definitely consider becoming a comedian. Last but not least the Gala was soooo fun. Its kinda interesting because in the beginning I thought it would be really lame. I thought DJ Smoky was going to play really weird music and everyone would be doing these crazy dances. It turned out that he played a variety of music and since there were different people from different regions or the world there was also a variety of dances. The night coasted by so fast and when it was time to go everyone begged for more time. All and all this was one of the greatest experiences of my life and I will definitely remember it!!
